E

Meet sweet, sweet Ezgi
It's funny to think that before this week she was a stranger to me. Now after a letter and a package it seems like I've known her for ages. The ease in our conversation is like that of old pals. It was a sweet, sweet surprise to get her letter. I was not expecting it at ALL and when I saw the postage and the fact that Ezgi lives in London and the letter in my hands had actually gone through the Royal Mail (awww!) well you can just imagine how happy she made me. It means a lot to me because E wanted to surprise me - she emailed twinkie for my address.

E (which I have decided to call her :) Hope you don't mind love!) lives in LONDON and left her heart in New York City. Our love for each of our cities is the same magnitude and one of the biggest reasons she wrote me. She loves to travel, read, hang out with her girlfriends, shop (which she described as "major downfall - MAJOR" thought that was so cute :) and cook on occasion. She's also very crafty (she knits, sews etc) - which is something I could tell right away because of the envelope the letter came in:

As well as the handmade bracelet she enclosed in the letter. I love it soooo much! Blue is one of my favourite colours!
I could also tell how crafty she was when a package arrived the very next day with the kindest home made gift ever! I had just met E and already she was spoiling me :) She sent me this letter and gifts before she even spoke one word to me. Like so many of you I have had the privilege of meeting through my blog - I can already tell she has a kind, generous, big heart to want to give me a piece of London.

*Kit Kats are my absolute favourite candy! I'm telling you - E knew me without even knowing!

E made me This Ultimate Guide To London to help me out when I finally make it back there. She's split it up in sections: Suggestions - Things To Do - Pictures - Dreams
She's filled out a few of the pages (so neat that my handwriting will be mixed in with hers) with some great suggestions of places to see in London (love that I have done some of them already!) and will send more things to fill it out with in the future.
Everything - my letters, my bracelet, my journal, the candy, the map envelope - means so much to me. In her letter the motivating words that I can have London if I really want it badly enough literally brought tears to my eyes! That she wanted to do all of this for me - someone she hadn't talked to yet - was just so moving.
Thank you Ezgi - you can't imagine how grateful I am for your thoughtfulness. I'm most grateful for your new friendship - which already means the world to me.
I am looking forward to our close friendship love!
My connection with you makes London that much closer. I can picture us shopping at Harrods together one day!
