Winning World Cup Is My Ambition, Shahid Afridi

Pakistan’s captain Shahid Afridi said that he is looking to get world cup win. He was talking to media and said that winning world cup is the only ambition left for him in his life. He wants to end his cricketing career with world cup win. He added that it would be great honor for him if he completed his career with world cup champion team.
Afridi also wants his senior players back in team. He demanded Kamran Akmal and Shoaib Malik back in Pakistan team and said that both are key players for the team.
Afridi added that Pakistan deserves a lot in cricket and he just want to give his country what it deserves.  Afridi said that team combination is good and almost 90% of the world cup squad is final. Captain said that there is a lot more difference in Indian and New Zealand pitches and players will have to work hard to adjust according to conditions.
He added that he is also looking to open the inning in the world cup and Umer Akmal is another option for Pakistan team to open the series. In context of spot fixing, he admitted that coach was also questioned and he replies to the questions. Training camp before the New Zealand’s tour is continuing at Lahore.
