Trott and Zaheer Khan Move Up in ICC ranking


After performing well against Australia England batsman Jonathan Trott move up in ICC ranking. He remained unbeaten in the fourth Ashes test match. He moves up to third spot in the batsmen ranking. MCG proved good for him and he scored century on that ground and remains not out. He remained not out on 168 runs. His brilliant performance helped England o retain Ashes and gets 157 runs win. He was standing at 10th position in the ranking and his performance too him from 10 to third position. There is competition between S Tendulker and Trott. Both players are involved in playing series and their ranking will depend upon the performance of both players.
Indian fast bowler Zaheer Khan also moved up in the bowlers ranking after he took 6 wickets in the 2nd test match against South Africa. He moved up to fourth position and currently standing together with England’s Jimmy Anderson.
Two More England batsmen move up in their ranking. K Pietersen moves to 21st position while Alastair Cook moves to 13th position. Both players move up after the Melbourne test match. Australian Peter Siddle also moved to 11th in bowlers ranking after he picked 6 wickets for 75 runs.
