I love coming home to you

Sometimes I get upset thinking my husband isn't half as romantic as he use to be. Of course in the beginning, he would send me roses, buy me cards with sweet messages, or leave little gifts for me to find. But after nearly a decade together, we stopped making "big deals" over anniversaries or holidays. But I can't think of anything more romantic than coming home to a delicious dinner cooked by my husband for me and my seester Madeline! It was such a sweet surprise because I had no idea! He didn't tell me he was cooking or that he was inviting Maddie. So imagine my surprise to come home to see the table set with Maddie sitting at it! He made her favourite dish that he cooks (Chicken & Rice) so he took it upon himself to invite her. Is that not the sweetest?!?!
*Photo of our sweet Logan that Maddie snapped to send to twinkie :)
Another sweet thing that Philip did recently, was to send Micaela her Texas Rangers Antlers shirt. He wanted her to have it to wear just in time for the World Series and although the shirt did not bring our team luck (they lost the day she got it! Awww :( poor twinkie!!) how thoughtful was that of Philip to do? So he is romantic, because my seesters are my WHOLE world. And when he does something nice for them, it warms my heart!
*My cute twinkie!! Philip even knew to get her a boy's size shirt :) It fit her perfectly!

And while I'm bragging on my husband, I just have to brag on his momma :)

My mom, my mother-in-law Kitty and me. This photo was taken a couple years ago, but is one of my favourites. I have it framed on my desk at work.

I am blessed with the most AMAZING mother-in-law! I love this woman with all my heart. She has done so many wonderful things for Philip and I (including giving me a car!). And she's SO much fun! I absolutely love spending time with her. Micaela is close to her too and even refers to her as her mother-in-law :) For Halloween this card came in the mail:

Call me old fashioned - but seeing me referred to as Mrs. Philip Wilson NEVER gets old :)
In the inside of the card she enclosed some money for us to go "treat" ourselves. How adorable and nice is that of her to do? And just because it was Halloween! She often sends me cards just because. Once she sent me a NY&Co. gift card with a note that said "Just because I don't get to see you nearly enough." I am so lucky to have a mother-in-law I have a close relationship with. No lie, I'm prob closer to her than Philip is! Philip's birthday is this Friday and she'll be in town this weekend. I cannot wait to see her :)
I hope you have had an equally perfect evening :)
