Aamir Atlas reaches Asian Games squash semi Final 2010

GUANGZHOU: Pakistan`s Aamir Atlas Khan cruised into the semi-finals of Asian Games squash event, defeating compatriot Farhan Mahboob 3-1 in a thrilling match played here on Friday. 

“Both have played well but Aamir edged Farhan in the last game,” Pakistan`s national coach Faheem Gul told after the match.
Aamir, ranked 20 globally, played few long rallies, especially in the third and fourth game winning the match 11-7, 11-8, 10-12, 11-8.
Faheem said Aamir would play his semi-final match against Asias top ranking Malaysian player Ong Beng Hee on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Aqeel Khan, lost 6-2, 6-4 to Japan`s Soedo Go in the second round of men`s singles.
