Cristiano Ronaldo who is a current Real Madrid player, having been bought for the highest price ever paid namely 80 million pounds is rumored to be having team mate problems in the locker room. These are really only rumors and I personally think they should be quickly resolved. His contract which started on 1st July 2009 is for 6 years and he is earning the highest salary recorded for a soccer player at a whopping 11 million pounds a year. This is a huge sum to have to forfeit and besides all that there is a buy out clause in Cristiano Ronaldo contract with the price set at 1 Billion Pounds.
His full name is Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro and to be earning this sum of money at the age of 25 for playing a game he loves seems to me to be a bit over the top. I know that sports are a big TV draw card and stations pay over the top to show the games on TV and this is mostly how the clubs manage to pay these exorbitant amounts for players like Cristiano Ronaldo but in a world where there is so much poverty and hardship it does seem a little out of whack.
