Happy New Years loves!!! How did you ring in 2011?
My night was low key compared to New Years of the past (really low key compared to some of my crazier years! ha). Just me and my husband! We both had Friday off so we got to enjoy sleeping in together - something that rarely happens. For the night's festivities, we ended up at our home away from home - Buffalo Wild Wings - to finish 2010.
*I'm blessed to have an amazing midnight kiss! ;) It was a perfect evening, just the two of us.
2010 was really good to me! For the first time in years, my entire family was all together under one roof. My kuyah Marco came home from Iraq safely and in love with the most amazing woman (who also served in Iraq with him). I got to hug my nephew, the most important person in the world to me! I got to play with all my beautiful nieces. I became a bit of a gym bunny and sticked to my excersice goals. I gave back. I traveled. And even though it was a hard lesson, I became a little bit more independent because for the first time in our nearly 27 years, my twinkie and I lived apart from each other. And nothing can compare to the joy I felt to see her become Mrs. Maxham and the most beautiful bride I have ever seen. I also started this blog and met all of you. I can't imagine not having all of you in my life! Thank you for the precious gift of your friendships!
There are SO many moments I have to be thankful for this past year. Too many to name! And I pray that 2011 finds me just as happy on New Years Eve as I was this year!
I feel in my heart that this is going to be one AMAZING year! And I welcome it with open arms.
I wish you all so much love and joy this coming year! xo
