Actually let's start with Thursday. Every year my bff and I take her boys to the fair. It's like a family tradition of ours. I look forward to it every year because not only do I get to spend some time with her amazing family (her sister Leah and her kids came too), but I get to indulge in carnie food! I know how horribly bad it is for me to eat, but man do I enjoy it :) Chocolate covered cheesecake, keetle corn and greasy pizza - YES please! :) We all had such a good time!
*The little baby goats at the petting zoo were absolutely adorable!!! I wanted so badly to take one home with me :) They also had gorgeous deer there and I wanted to steal one of those for twinkie who wants a pet fawn :)
I came home from the fair with a little souvenir...(no, no, not the baby goat - although I wish! haha)...
On our way out, I saw a spray tattoo booth and guess what?!?!?! They had a seahorse design!!! I was SOOO excited!!!
*I'm trying to hide a HUGE zit on my chin hahaha :)
*It is ABSOLUTELY adorable!!! I love it sooo much! That's exactly where I want to get it. I could not stop looking at it for the rest of that night, or the next day, or the day after that. I just love it so much. It's finally starting to fade now :( I want to take a sharpie and trace over it before it does, that's how much I love it! I'm thinking I need to finally get it for real....
Friday night I had a birthday party to go to in celebration of my friend Maria. She and I use to work together at JC Penney way back when (that place has seriously brought so many important people into my life! My husband, my bff Steph and so many of my closest friends).
We pigged out on finger foods (I have a serious addiction to little smokies!), played a mean game of catch phrase (quite possibly my new favourite game) and made a trip to the casino.
Saturday afternoon my parents and I went to the Jamaica Festival with some of our church friends.

*DELICIOUS enchilada, taco, Spanish rice, beans, chips and hot sauce meal cooked by the lovely ladies of Our Lady of Guadalupe church
And of course the loss that was felt the hardest was today's Cowboys loss to the Bears :( SAD day!! Philip and I went yet again to BWW to watch the noon games and lucky for me I got to cheer on my boys and my husband Terrell Owens. Fortunately, he pulled a win for me as the Bengals beat the Ravens :)
That night Philip & I went to watch the Texas @ Texas Tech game at Buffalo Wild Wings (our home away from home). Tech is one of my best girlfriends Erin's alma mater so I have cheered on the Red Raiders on more than one occassion. I pledge my loyalty in honor of our great friendship :) Too bad they ended up losing :(

I hope all of you had as wonderful a weekend as I did! This week won't be that hard to tackle because it will be a fun one! Lots of amazing things to look forward to - the Kings of Leon concert with my bff on Thursday night and an even more AMAZING one next weekend...details coming soon :)
